So am I the only one on the planet that has not had a problem with steam? I know there are a host of issues with it. But so far every time I have used it to play HL2, CS, CS:S its worked more or less pretty well.... Guess I am lucky :)

I finally got it and I don't have any problems either.

@Neo, about Steam, in the installation process you are asked what your connection speed is. Strange part is when I looked in the settings of Steam it was on ISDN (wich was not what i choose). Maybe the same happened to you, but you did not notice it yet.
