IDEA: For medival mut

Weapons allowed:

Melee weps (all)
Crossbows (limited to only one ammo at a time)



Vehicles allowed (CCTF, Onslaught):

Steeds (Custom skins, controlled like CUT bikes, weapon - scorpion blades modified to look like the rider is extending his sword on one side)

Catupult (based on the SPMA, driver has no weps, passenger can release caupult)



In game features:

To limit the usage of the crossbow, make a 'storage module' like the weapons locker, that has only one crossbow ammo and renews itself instantly. This will make the crossbow a defensive wep only. Players will have to go in with melee weps. Its gonna be a little charge-of-the-light-brigade-ish, but still, itll be cool.

In order to use the crossbow properly, players will have to position themselves next to 'storage modules' and continuously shoot, then recharge, shoot, recharge, etc. This should give melee wep weilders a chance...

I think Duel is coded so that if there are not enough spawn points for the players, it spawns the players from path nodes. Not sure, though...

Grrrrrrr no wonder spawning hell was let loose when i tryed putting jumppads and teleporters in a melee level -_-.

Siege tower! Siege tower!

Actually, now that i think about it, it'd be kinda cool to have a scifi siege tower for Chaos Onslaught with a pivoting laser ballista on top, which would basically be like a giant super ERDW, and automatic XBow slots (or something like that) around the walls for the passengers. Connected to the back of this thing would be a catapult controlled by the driver. This catapult would hurl giant proxies that would go "WHEEEEEEEEE!!!". Secondary would launch Nali Cows.

that actually sounds like a kinda kewl Levitant replacement,maybe make it possible to shoot from inside it(thru little holes) with your own weps aka Hoverboard too?

i did suggest a medievil mod ages ago, since chaos alrady has most of the stuff there (eg melee and xbows...)

a siege tower was also suggested.....how about some other seige weaponry, eg mangonels ?

thsi would all however, fit in with my level im working on atm, ctf/whatever - Landsend....

its like an almost crusade style level, with lots of eastern/western castles (no, not the ones from moondragon.) its a more turkish/middle eastern style atm.

so, a crusade/seige tower mod would be damn kewl

i though of one with metal,cables that have pulsing lights,scifi siege tower not a wooden box
