I can update you to say we are at least beginning to discuss what we can do about a new web site, or sites. This may or may not lead to a near-future recruitment post for someone to volunteer.

We have multiple urls, and our BU site alone will now be 'home' to 4 versions of Chaos. We don't plan on moving anything, but just about everything can use a face-lift.

It's a big job. Gonna take someone with cojones to volunteer to take it on.

Random idea: Perhaps to build hype, anticipation, why not do something similar to what smashbros.com is doing? I doubt y'all could do daily, since life and mod-working is busy enough as it is, but people love information.

Maybe weekly or so, like Sakurai is doing with Smash Bros. Brawl, release just the slightest snippet of information about a single item/feature, talking about how badass it is and/or how it's been updated for UT3.

We will probably do something like that, although even weekly is tough to promise. It's just amazing sometimes how fast a week can fly by.

But for the moment, it's early. Not even every team member has the game yet. And, on top of that, we're also sorta of dragging our feet about any updates, hoping that the new web site will be done soon enough so that we can do all our UT3 stuff on a new site.

Please check back!

With the foot dragging thing; why not write up some text articles right now so that you have a buffer of updates for when the site is actually fixed up properly. There's no reason the updates have to be right up to the second, in game news reports.

Though one really simple thing that would help a lot is a little "version counter" with the current internal release number, somewhere on the main UTIII page. Maybe with a "number of days since release" counter too. Just so we can keep up....

I have to support the idea of a trailer. Something simple that will get peoples attention. Distributing to sites like gametrailers.com, gamevideos.com, or fileplanet should increase hype.

As far as the trailer goes, how bout this: A lone proxy is hopping through a torn up battlefield. It comes across a body and jumps over it, then another, and another. (all of the dead are holding Chaos weapons of course) The proxy finally gets to it destination where other proxies are meeting. In front of them on a stage like area a black proxy stands in front of a sloppily made sign that can say "viva la revolution" of something to that effect. All the proxies can laugh or sing or whathaveyou.

Cool idea, oh & the sign should say Welcome to the world of chaos.
