Missing File

So far the only file I have been able to find that I am missing is the UCL in the UT2004\System folder and I know that it is more than likely related to the new patch not creating UCL files.
Thanks

the ucl files *should* be in the zip installation file. There should be a ChaosUT2.ucl in UT2004\System and a ChaosGames.ucl in UT2004\ChaosUT2\System
If they are not you got a bad zip file.

Got the UT4MOD from
http://dynamic4.gamespy.com/~chaotic/index.php and don't quite remember but I think I downloaded the one from Gamers Hell. I saw the post for it on the Atari Forum.

You will most likely have to right click and save target as. It goes in your UT2004\System folder.
There should be a couple files in UT2004\System that have Chaos in there name somewhere.. off the top of my head ChaosUT2.ucl, ChaosUT.det, ChaosUT.int, ChaosGames.det, and ChaosGames.int. If you can double check that they are there after putting the ucl in that would be great

Thank you for posting that file I put it in the proper folder and checked for the other files you listed and I now have all of them, but the game is still crashing. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling so now I suppose I need to try and redownload it, so I will try that and let you know if it works.
Thanks

N00bike, since he could not respond here I went to that thread and asked for some info. For what ever reason it never showed up in my inbox. So I just sent another request to him to get some info. Its the only case that we know of and we have never heard of this. The AWO was something we added back in the UT2k3 version so I really am clueless to why he has this issue. Anyways I figured the best place to handle this was on that forum since he can reply there. My fault for not informing people here.

Was playing 1v1 duel with a couple of friends and found a bug.
If you kill your oponent just as you fall into lava, the lava kills you and when you respawn to fight the next person you can't fire any weapon.
I've also noticed my melee weapon preference defaults back to bastard sword ocassionaly, I havn't been able to figure out the cause yet.
Have you considered restarting this thread with a list of know bugs at the start - i've just browsed through it and a lot of the same problems are reported.
And would it be possible to have an option to return to vanilla ut2004 without exiting to windows and restarting.

From what ive heard and seen, its not possible to re-launch vanilla UT without a restart. We actually had the community tab in the menu for a while, but took it out since we could not get that working.

Great idea. I think one of our beta testers had mentioned the same thing prior to PR3 and we just never got 'round to it.
Perhaps soon, with 3.01, we should go thru again and take a tally. At the moment though, some have been fixed already, and others are in testing right now. And even our own internal bug list isn't yet current with our 3.01 code yet. We'll be working on that now, of course.
(changelog for 3.01 - at least so far - is on our web site as of last night btw)
Thanks for the suggestion though, as it's a good one.
