Bums? I'm not sure about that video card, but it is not that they don't want to upgrade, maybe it is that can't upgrade (money problems, etc.) and if anyone could upgrade easily, we would all have the fastest computers.


What I said was purely meant in jest , I know quite well that it would be ignorant and inconsiderate of this mod team to build in a feature that was incompatible with low end users. I was just joking around . but thanx for the concern...

Those huds are coming along quite nicely , will there be a feature in the hud to highlight players that enter your line of view?

It would be inconsiderate, considering that some of the team members have low end machines...

But if we make it scale with graphics settings then people that can render faster can just turn up their detail for more graphics :D

The stanard UT2k3 Sniper (AKA LightingGun) uses 3 textures for their zoom. We will not go beyond that (one for backgroud/border and one for an overlay with a third????

The turrets are becoming a pain in my side. Every time I add something new to them it breaks it :( I was able to let you controll them but not very well. So let me try again and see if I get any luck the other way....I have added a tac disply simular to our SniperRilfe as a place holder.

Bah,

Ok well so I change my mind more than a woman when she redesign's her room. I ran into even more techicnal issues with try to controll them and still play by the rules of a good mutator. I could fix all the issues by breaking the rules of a good mut but I dont want to do that. So I went back and fixed the last techincal issue with the turret camera. When/if I get time I will try to go back and see if I can hack in a way to controll the turret while still being a nice mutator. Just maybe we will have to remove the remote control feature to be only avaible in Chaos games (Ie Koth, Duel, ChaosDM, ChaosCTF, ect). Will try to get a tweaked picture of the hud updated ASAP for you folks.
