How about a wheelbomb launcher?
Standard ammo is a proxy inside of a gyroscopic wheel, and travels along the ground until it hits a wall, pawn or smesh. Other ammo could be used as well, like a trailblazer (leaves a stream of napalm behind it), a gluebomb (sticks to all surfaces except vehicles and people, but blows up after a set amount of time) or the waffle (superweapon replacement, leaves a trail of timed mines behind it that blow up in 3 seconds and blows up to 1/2 the size of a deemer blast. AWO changes secondary fire mode between bomb compounding, speed charging, multiple bomb charging (like crossbow) or bomb possession.

basically a replacement for the chaos grenade launcher. and the gluebomb could be more like a tool. when it hits something ti explodes and sprays glue all over the place. if someone hits the glue then they are stuck until the glue wears off. it slows vehicles down a slight bit.

Not quite a replacement for the CGL, it's got different uses than the CGL because the CGL is either 'splode on impact or is timed, and it can't fire waffles, either.

For the bomb possession you can jump, but lower and further than proxies.

As one of the secondary fire modes, it could have a homing feature, but you have to hold it down a few seconds to home in.

the thing is that people wish thoose,but they would unbalance duel with theyre range...so whats the solution,,,ofcourse..add them to guncombat,with the extra range they have the edge against guns that is required
actually, to balance that you would either reduce their speed or their attack power.

the point about the vortex is that you have to run like hell or else you shall be killed by it...and i dont think anyone would drop a good ole vortex when they can knock it into the enemy base from a safe disntace and detonate it when the FC is passing by[/quote]
ok to fix that you know the light the carier has around him. well make it so proxies run away from him saing "runaway its the light" and vortexes cant detonate wils hes near it, a ways away yea but not close

A blunderbuss!
Normal ammo is a single bullet that deals more damage at close-medium range, and then there's buckshot that deals tons of damage but only at close range. Secondary packs more powder into the bell of the 'bluss, which makes it deal more damage, but if you use too much, it kinda blows up in your face.
When someone gets splattered into messy bits, a few pickups for the blunderbuss come out with the gibs that look like gib, so you can use someone's skull as ammo! Skulls deal the most damage, and other gibs deal 5 to 10 damage and go splorch when they hit.

I meant as in you fire it off the wheel thingy and it starts rolling off. though a cutter blade would work. make it bigger. and for it to hit you can use the same lock-on system as the rocket launcher.

A nother nice Weapon is the Gravitation Weapon from Unreal Forever 2k4, i would like if you can add such a weapon in your mod ^^.

I want to say something about the X- Ray, i downloaded u4e 2k4 after your post (one of the first posts) and played with their railgun.
You said that you have modify the game engine for x-ray, but in this mod you can see your enemys through the wall in a yellow wireframe around the player model.
So my suggestion is to create Bones like the Bone when you are killed by the link gun and put it into the player models like the yellow wireframe in u4e and make the occupation of the player models to 50% for example so that you can see the Bones ^^. and the should be dark blue or violett transparent.

Last but not least, I want a multi rocket Launcher with cluster rockets ^^
or a alien weapon wich fires with small spiders or the face hackers from Alien *g* or a target painter for an Napalm Strike.

We're not just going to copy another mod. We don't want that and I bet they wouldn't be too happy about it either.

We still feel that something would give the ERDW too much power. However some people are really good at switching from our sniper's lifetracker to the ERDW and rail you through a wall.

It was only a suggestion with the grav gun from u4e. I under stand that your team dont want to copy weapons from other mods.
But I would like to know what weapons you team want to integrate in the next versions of the mod??

*looks at what weapons arent yet replaced*

i wouldve guess only the shieldgun,maybe a extra ammo or 2 for the old weps


tho new vehicles,runes and other goody's are coming tho

from what ive seen this isnt going like U4E,for quanity..but for quality(u4e has plenty of that too tho)
