Meleé wepons only do the standard left click attack on the hover board. The view is also a bit far away to aim well, but I can't use the mouse wheel to change that because it cycles weapons. The ability to stay at one altitude by jumping is usefull, especially on VCTF submagma, because you an get to the flag without having to use the stairs if you do it right.
