What about something along the lines of the Stinger in Unreal I? Fast, low damage primary with a slow reload shotgun style secondary for close up. It could shoot nails... :D

While a few people have brought up Halo weapons.. The needler is a sweet little weapon. Combine that idea with the stinger from Unreal, maybe a slower fire speed of course, and you've got a nice replacement for something or other.

Dang that gun totally slipped out of my memory banks, lol, Sweet idea my friend... Yes, the Stinger or the (Duel) Enforcers should come back just w/ a sweet 'lil Chaos touch to 'em :twisted:

I'm glad people share my viewpoint. The way I see it, AR grenades are made redundant by the Grenade Launcher, so a combo AR/Shotgun would rule. Especially with nails :lol: !

maybe a pistol that uses sniper ammo? or maybe a weaker version of the needler. the needler kicks lots of ass.

or a plasma pistol...
or a small rocket launcher that doesnt explode but hsoots thin piercing rockets that stick in people. kinda like the cpp thing except you can friendly fire a teammate who has the ball in bombingrun and make him fly thru the goal. thatd be sweet if a bunch of people blast a bunch of enemies out of hte sky and after a few seconds a bunch of corpses fall to the ground.

how about something like U2s assault rifal?
*ACCURATE* primary fire, and shotgun alt fire. :)

oh...idea...

I'm a REAL sucker for high-refire rate laser weapons. (Ala Star Wars 2 scene in the asteroids)

something like that? with a charging alt fire that deals it out like 40pts damage. :)

Ok, after looking for more than 20 minutes on someone's profile, I finally found this place...Personally, there's some pros and cons to the AR.

Pros:
More rapid fire, two modes of fire (bullets/grenades) and overall a semi decent weapon.

Cons:
The Enforcers were more of a kick butt weapon, especially with the Akimbo mode (strike 1), the AR is very unreliable in it's aim from what I've seen (strike 2), and all in all, removing the twin pistols from UT was a mistake because that was an essential part of the fighting style to many gamers from what I've seen (on servers and here in my place, thus, strike 3.)

If you're gonna do something with that AR, lemme run down some ideas...
1) Fix the aim... :x
2) Give a little more "Umph" to the primary fire...
3) Let us carry a few more grenades...
4) AKIMBO! AKIMBO AKIMBO AKIMBO, doggone it! Need I say more?

Alright, now as to something to replace it...well, I'm thinking something along the lines of A) Revamped Enforcers, B) Some kind of melee weapon, C) a grappling hook or other kind of tool, D) a stronger AR with a laser sight and no grenade launcher!!!

More to come on all those when I get a few minutes...

We've already got a weapon which we will be replacing the AR with, it's called the Chaos Pulse Pistol. It's pretty neat too. It's like the enforcer, except the bullets are real-time projectiles that will punch through people, and leave smoke trails. They can also reflect off walls. When you put two of em together, they charge the bullets in an energy pulse field which adds extra kinetic punch to them, which kicks people back a bit when they hit. Since they punch through things and can bounce off walls, its possible to hit someone (or yourself) multiple times with a single shot. The damage is still fairly low, however. The akimbo mode adds more than just the ability to fire two at once, it also adds extra functionality to the weapon with the kinetic effect. Of course, you still have to kill someone to get a second one.

Ok, now THAT'S what I'm talkin' about! Something with a little bit of extra umph that you can go Akimbo with! Any idea when we'll see the release patch for the Chaos Pulse Pistol?

When we get to use those, all I've got to say to them is this...

I haven't read evrything but i think that the idea of the two enforcers is good but make make not again enforcers but 2 big machineguns that shoots many bullits and still holts same advantages of the enforcer! (jumpy)
