Can't do whips, maces, or other flexible weapons due to the code. At least, at this point we don't think we can. Though possibilities exist with karma physics and fixed tracepoints. The idea being that the weapon's damage point is a fixed location from the hilt, with the flexible part just being for show.
If we decide to pursue that route, it won't likely be for a while, since it will require some testing and experimentation.
Maybe what you could do is something like for example:
have the chains be some bullets and have the main spiky thing be a big bullet. Oviosly the bullets would be modified took look like the chain and spike thing. Or maybe you could have them be invisable bullets and you said that moving parts are only for show, but when you shoot, the mace "shoots" the "bullets" in a certain way that they move with the mace. Do you get what I mean? You might not be able to modify the weapon itself to do damage but what if it emmitted "bullets" to take the same shape as the mace so that when it hit, it would do damage.
It appears we've got dual weapons working, so daggers may just be the first step. Note, however that I am not promising anything... Just a wild guess at a possibility...
