Well heres a recipe for a seizure, try translating the following:
(eeek)

Jabberwocky

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Its a Lewis Carrol poem from Through the Looking Glass, the sequel to Alice in Wonderland.

Its also a favorite poem for people in elementary school to memorize, because its pure jibberish with a heroic theme 8O

Its ok nighthawk... I don't understand anything of that post either :D

I meant to respond to your 'lets see you try and write in more than one language'... ok, my french is very rough, but I can understand enough to get around in a french speaking country. If spoken to very slowly in Dutch, I can pickup most of it, and given a coupe of weeks can even respond in Dutch. On the other hand, I am fluent in Spanish.

This isn't meant as a 'I am better than you' post or anything, just a reply is all.

Let me see if i can break it down a little, and it helps if you have an english root dictionary, since a lot of the words come from old english stuffs, like gyre and gimble... well gyre is close to gyro as in gyrocopter, gyroscope, etc.

Also a lot of the words are meant to convey their meaning by the way they sound, like frumious Bandersnatch

oic.. so you mean stuff like 'vermicious knid' :D

I'm not taking it as a "I'm better than you"...

I didn't want to make myself better than anybody else here but just to open the mind of some poeple who will only agree to speak their language and not even bother with others... I know I'm not the best in english but I do mannage to make myself understand in most of the ways. the fact that you speak alot of language is a really goos thing cause it prove that you are not self centered on your culture only. I'm not saying that poeple who can't speak more than one language are but that only that those who wouldn't like to learn more than what they know or don't even bother trying to understand are maybe a little self-centered.

I'm happy you didn't take it badly cause after I posted it I tought that maybe I did a mistake. I shouldn't have say some of those things but you know what bad day can make .... well anyway sorry if I offended anyone here I didn't meant it
