Ok here a list of bugs for me.

1)When Im in a scropion and get hit by something I stand up in the vehicle.

2)Bots seem to run back and forth on some maps.

3)and bot roster doesnt work(It cant be epic, because it worked fine before)

I hope u guys can get this fixed, good luck. :?

It is epic, Try Fraghouse invasion, same problem.
Should be fixed in the next patch.

hi, i dropped by the irc chan and they said to post here, so here it is..
i've been enjoying chaos today fine, but all of a sudden i started to get this error when i try to join some games:

it started to happen after a server admin was trying to setup a model to be pushed to clients, but not until maybe 20 minutes or so afterwards. afterwards i tried joining some other servers to see if it was a server specific problem, but others gave me the error too, though some don't. i can host my own game fine. the only thing i've done with ut aside from run it today was i deleted a couple mutators i downloaded, but it had ran fine after that.
also, another bug i experienced was regarding the input controls. what displayed on the config and what was actually bound were completely different. the config screen said neither fire key was bound, jump was bound to ctrl, etc., but ingame everything was like the defaults.

I've got two serious problems:

1. The bot roster bug...

2. Weapon switching bug: After I switch to a melee weapon the scroll-switching and the character animations crash (only if I use the CUT2 Evolution mutator)!!!

Please fix this (too) and the mod will be AWESOME!!!

Neither of those are our fault (crybig)


They both have to do with Epic's mod support, all we can do is wait :(

Hey guys, I found kinda a halfass fix for the weapons cycling bug. I went and enabled "Weapons switching on pickup" and made sure "Best weapon switching" was disabled. This decreased the weapons cycle bug by 50-60%. Next weapon cycle now works 85% of the time for me now though previous weapon cycle still forces to cycling only shield gun & melee most of the time......wierd. :roll:

Hey still, atleast it's a partial fix. 8)

i dont seem to be able to see through the turret cam. it displays a green bubbly texture but shows up targetinbg boxes and names and things.

thinking i'm missing something, everything else works fine though.

glad you got it installed ok now. So you dont see a team DM game at all? They should all be their (standard ones). We did not implement a ChaosTeamDM game yet.

Sometimes online in duel mode, nobody can spawn. This has only happened in 1on1 matches, and the only way to fix it was for the participants to reconnect, or for the admin to go to the next map.

Ok I found I have some errors with mine. I had to install mine via the Zip file, so basically manually because I don't not have the UT4MOD to open. First of all, taking it as a separate program from UT2k4. I have CUT2 for UT2k3 and when I go under my Start menu, Programs, I find it right there labeled Chaos UT 2 Evolution. But it won't do the same for CUT2 for UT2k4, so therefore I cannot play the CUT2 and play such things as melee and duel. Secondly, I cannot make a desktop icon for it either and that doesn't help me to play it either. The only way I can play CUT2 is as a mutator in UT2k4. Somewhere in the readme file there probably was something that discussed this but I must have overlooked it, several times. Is there any way I can get this thing working properly?
There are two ways to activate the mode. Start normal UT. Then go to the community menu, chaos should be listed, highlight it then activate it. That will restart UT2k4 with Chaos loaded.

Else you can make a new copy of your UT2k4 short cut. Then Modify the properties to add -Mod=ChaosUT2 at the end of it. That will work as well.

sorry if this has already been listed, but whenever i launch the dedicated server w/ chaosut2 mutator, the weapons don't show up when i play. I just see yellow particle bubble floaty things. Any ideas?

the 2 most annoying bugs EVER :x

the kick still does no damage, it does not have to do 50hp damage, even 1hp damage would please me! and I think noone would complain :D

but whats even more annoying is that when you kick someone down a roof or something and they die you dont get a kill for it (madder) (no) (nana) :x
