Don't worry, I have seen enough mods to know that there is no real release date, that was just a time frame, ie. if there are no show-stopping bugs it will be 2-4 weeks etc.

People arn't stupid enough to take those dates literally any more.

Well the 2 weeks thing was actually Epic saying when they would release UT2k4 about 5 months before they actually did IIRC.

Guys that 2 weeks thing is seriously mean.

I mean the first time you guys used it on me I was fooled, not cool for PR.

But I hope "very close" is actually "very close". You've been saying that for ages too!

Yea first time it was a joke :) But we have replaced all the borrwed assets. We are just waiting for loq to finnish a few tweaks and we are ready for the final IR. Flag has already been updating the manuals/docs and thats usally one of the last things we do before we go for a release. I realize its slow. I realize its been a long time. And I realize we have said this before. But every day we are working on this to make it better...

I personally feel you should take your time. This is after all your project and freeware too, so it's good enouh that it's happening, let alone on some vague schedule...

I don't know if any of you play MTA which is a GTA mod that makes it multiplayer. That last line was a joke......so was the one before it.

In case your intrested, no, they weren't terrible coders, they just had to create an SDK for GTA (8O) and then make the mod on top so they actully made the whole thing 3 times over because they kept remaking the SDK from the ground up when something wasn't there/working.

Oh, and i'll hunt you all down and slap you if you take 9 months :evil:!!! (*hint* aparently death threats are illegal on boards, *hint*)

Just kidding. Take however long you need guys, we'll still play the mod on 2k4 until it gets ported over to 2k7, if that is where you guys are headed next.

More mini updates:

Lots of tweaks were made to the HH gametype to make it more fun (you can now pick up xbows, some of the monsters have better weapons whcih you can pickup, ect) as well as trying to make the bots better (Bots now releaize that some monster's weapon are better and will try pick them up, bots will now kick when they are suround by lots of monsters, ect). Tweaks to other things...like we saw a bot in Invasion pull out a claw and pull a kami. Now while that is cool, its not cool when he was the last one left alive on our team and he does that...soo :)

Just wanted to let you know we are still pluging away at this for you !!!
