If you are a good enough shot with the needler, you can get it to attach to someone's neck. They get a 5 ish second countdown, then BOOM, no more head

there are remote detonation now on the AWO... but its instant trigger rather than a new firemode.

Ie, a grenade that is primary fired still explodes on contact, and it doesnt stick. Obviously, secondary fire you can use to leave some traps, but they still also have their timer that sets them off if you dont detonate remotely before time is up.

Ok.

New ammo type idea for Claw 2:

Claymores! Primary fire sets one up facing forwards, while secondary fire sets one facing up. Laser activated, and sprays an area with, well, whatever you guys want it to spray out. Needles, or maybe flechettes, or whatever.

You probably should tone down the weapon range and damage to make it balanced, or you could make it a very rare and hard to get ammo type.

They are kalled trip mines and they burst a flame when you walk trough their lasers.

No, not like that. Those shoot out flames. These mines would explode and spray a large area in front of or above the mine with needles and stuff. Maybe they shouldn't be laser activated, but have motion sensors that cause the claymore to detonate in two seconds after if it detects movement in the target area. It should shoot like, 300 needles or something.

Another question: Will needles stick to vehicles instead of damaging them? I want to see someone get injured when they try to get on a vehicle and find out the seat is covered in needles. Ouch!

Here's an idea. make a superweapon so powerful it can only be used once in the game and has short range. and once it is used it cannot respawn. maybe like a beam cannon that has like 1 ammo and once it hits something a whole bunch of redeemer explosions take place. plus you have to be at like link gun alt fire range in order to get a hit. or the farther you want to hit a target from the worse the accuracy becomes. and for the time of the redemmers explosions make it a couple seconds. any other idea's for this? and I mean as in for the respawn not just until the end of the match but the end of the game. like when you finally win.

That sounds more like something that should be a part of the map, rather than a weapon. Mappers can put stuff like that into a map, a triggerable thing that can kill everyone in the map, and stuff like that.

maybe the chaos team can add that as a patch for their maps.

How about a Chaos Monster Portal superweapon that spawns Invasion monsters. Each Portal brings 1 Warlord, 2 of the big rocket launcher dudes, 3 Skaarj, 4 floating gas-ball fireball shooting things, 5 Krall, and about 20 of those other smaller critters, to fight for your team. Their kills go into the score of the player who summoned them.

And no not that water-down supped up hyper-blaster from Q3...I am talking about a big ol ball of green love, complete with lasers and guaranteed to have people call you a no-skil BFG lamer when you hit them with it :)

Hey, I still got that one super-weapon idea from a few months back.
I still think it'd fit nicely into Chaos
