Chaos KOTH Question?

Will the Chaos KOTH be compatable with the UT2003 KOTH maps already out there?

No.. primarily because people who release quick versions of KOTH never bother to see if anyone else is doing one, to ensure compatibility.

Actually we might have a chance of supporting their maps. They us a subclass of a dom point. We offer support for volumes, zones and triggers. There is a good chance we could implement a fix that replaces their dom point with our KoTH triggers (and a special node for the bots to find the hill). I will give it a whirl and see if it works and if it make sense.. Its also possible that they could support ours but not sure how maps that are using zone/volumes would play on their game.

yes I was able to add in support for the other KoTH mod last night. We can support their maps in either team or single player KoTH game types of our. However we will have to work on getting a standard naming convention as their maps and ours differ (we us KOTH and they use HQ for the prefix). Here is a screen shot of their map called Chaos Hill
