Chaotic Dreams

I (running a JailBreak/ChaosUT server) have recieved many conections from players who dont have JB, trying to download it from the server. in case thats anyone from around here, let me point out that downloading via http or ftp is MUCH faster, and more permanent in nature. and so I link you all to Planet Jailbreak, wher u can download the mod, virtually every map out for it, and the service pack:

i gotta clean my room, but after i do that i am gonna try and get on the server.
but guys, could you maybe take off some of the server packages (not sure if all are necessary) because although i am on a cable connection, i do not like having to d/l useless serverpackages.
if i may make a suggestion, have these packages:
all the CUT skins and models
CUT and UTJB of course
anything that each mod specifically needs
mapvote
and of course, some sort of hack protection

actually, instead of skins, I'd suggest using the program that makes the skins act like in Q2: if you have the skin someone else is using, you can see it. If not, you see the default skin, as opposed to UT's: if tthe server has the skin, anyone can use it but all must have it. If it doesn't, you can't use the skin.

That mutator is called valhalla or something like that.

where can i find this?
and does it give me the option to specify which skin you see? i really don't like being forced to look like Malcolm or Othello

yeah, i have been trying to d/l ONP since release. i sadly had to resort to the non-UMOD (UMOD kept crashing my PC) and am currently on level 12 i think.
btw, i hope i can find some people to play with on the server. i love UTJB, and love CUT. so the union must be good.

the server runs UTpure which has a special version of VA designed to work with it. its serverside only. other than a model and voicepack i included to allow a particular person to see/hear my model/voice, and BP 4 (which im darn suprised some people dont have considering its an Epic file). i can take out the model and voice as soon as i edit the botlist because some of the bots use them. ill do that now.
well, youve got me, i play UTJB whenever i dont play war3 beta
also i took out a number of superflous serverpackages (as well as some redundant ones)
