Ok, I remember making a map called Gemini.

But over at Nali city this guy named GreyTiger says that he made it, and that its called Gemini2: http://nalicity.beyondunreal.com/map_hub.php?mid=440

No, you're not wrong LoQ. Don't question your memory.

I've got burned on disk copies of two of your versions for that map. They're entitled CTF-ChaosUT_Gemini.zip and CTF-ChaosUT_Gemini2.zip.
I downloaded them from the Development section of the Chaos Forum (at the time) on August 23/00 and October 23/00 respectively.

Their age is also shown by the "ChaosUT" in the filename which was used before the Team decided to go with the CUT prefix.
I also have CTF-CUT_Gemini.zip. Also more than likely downloaded from the Chaos Forum.
BTW and FYI, it seems that at the time you built this map you were also just beginning to package them as .umods (the earliest one is a straight zip)

So, your memory is intact and it looks like this guy's stolen your work. I download (his) map from the link you provided and you say he hasn't changed a thing (as you did in your comments on "his" nalicity map page). I agree. Your name still appears as Developer when the .umod opens and your name will still be in the "Author" slot the maps' screenshot from the game browser

I say report him to NaliCity! He's listed as making numerous maps, I wonder if he's taken other people's work too?

Did a search or two for that name, and from what I can tell, he's history. He apparantly used to have planetunreal.com/greytiger, but it's gone now.

So, as far as I can tell, his thievin' days are over. But..., I now know his name, Chad 'GreyTiger' Barnett, and if he should show his face again, with something newer he has 'made', I'll be sure to introduce myself.

Well at first i was a bit infurated, but then when i downloaded the map and ran the install i almost fell out of my chair laughing. Now, i just think its humerous.

You guys are the bomb! Thanx for having my back. Its nice to know there are still Soldiers out there. I had lost some of my belief in Man, but im glad to see that it was only one man that didn't deserve belief. never mind, Im babbeling now heheheh

LoQ, the association with you as author probably got mixed in the move from NC2 to NC3. I will fix this today. Meant to fix it some days ago when I saw your comment about it... sorry about the wait, I've been busy.
