I have a question about the proxy launcher...

Will it be as efficient as the one in Chaos for Quake2? You could put proxy all around the map if you where on high ground, and the proxy where moving faster than the one on chaosUT

Good question. Not sure, I'll have to check sometime. But to be honest, if you do that, and bad stuff happens, then that's Karma, and all is well in the universe.

Hmm.., you know, to be honest I'm not sure how to answer that one. "As efficient"? Well, it currently does not fire as fast as the Q2 version, but is that a bad thing? And yes, there are other differences when compared directly to the Q2 version, but again, is that a bad thing?

IMO, while different, they are currently pretty darn awesome.

But we will also be very interested to hear what you and your buddies think after having a go with them.

Actaully I think we will give them just a small tweak in speed so its a bit harder to out run them as well as make the faster at aquiring targets as now they take about 3 seconds before they actively target eneimes...
