WOW... check out these benchmarks on my little system... Using the benchmark app that Epic has provided...

P3-1GHz (up from an 800 previously), 512MB ram, win98, blah blah blah
GeForce 2 GTS 32MB 4X AGP
...............FLY/BOT
640x480 71/17 (the old 800MHz gave me 65/12 if I remember correctly)
1024x768 54/8

GeForce 4 ti4200 128MB 8x AGP running at 4x AGP ($99
...............FLY/BOT
640x480 84/28
1024x768 84/28
1280x960 80/28
1600x1200 63/27 (my monitor can't handle this, so I turned it off while it ran  )

So as you can see, even though the CPU is a 'low end' one, the vid card makes a very nice difference.

your scores up to the 1600x1200 are all CPU limited so if/when you do get a faster video you should see a nice jump in those lower scores as well :) At the 1600x1200 res your starting to make the GF4 buckle a bit. Still about dam time but very nice :)

yup.. I know I'm CPU limited, but I like those limits.. atleast it will keep me going till the end of the summer when I'll get a new rig.

R. Flagg you see what a diff just the vid card makes? Talk to Marsfrye if he hasn't already spoken to you.

I recently upgraded GeForce2 MX to GeForce4 Ti. Love it :)
Having said that, now my cpu + ram is below par

I'm waiting for my new system before I upgrade my car, I use a GeForce2 and I'm happy with it right now, besides my system is only 533mhz I doubt it'll run the stuff I want yet.
