Searched for arrow and physics as well as arrow and trajectory and didn't get any finds, so sorry if this has already been asked.
Will the arrows have a trajectory affected by gravity?
I think it'd be cool to be able to limit what weapons are in maps, and to have a box to eneble gravity for various projectiles' trajectories.

Well.. not exactly an arc like in the real world.. More like they fly straight, unless a vortex is near by

, then all bets are off... its been rumored that you can even get the arrows... what? Did you think I would tell you?

Ok, without interference, they fly straight and loose speed. Once they drop below 'flying' speed, they fall to the 'ground'

As they are flying in a straight line they decellerate. As they decellerate they lose damage. When its going so slow that the damage would be worthless and it could no longer fly anyways, they drop to the ground.

The explosive bow isnt the weapon it once was tis a bit weak if u ask me but the grenades are awesome, that green gas is fantastic and the flames.

Well we toned it down for this reason. Why? With the xbow loading up to 5 of them, then total damage they would do if hit about 400 hps of damage to a single area which we thought was a bit too much.
For normal arrows its sort of like a shot gun. Up close, lots of damage. Farther away...less damage.

hmmm i was wondering why i was hitting a bot in the back with arrows while he was trying to run away that i wasn't doing much damage to him from far away,

try it offline and see if there is any different please. Someone mentioned this elsewhere and it might be an online only issue. They are supposed to have airstreams that follow the arrows to make them appear better, and those streams are color coded to match the arrow.

They trails show fine offline, but the trail for standard ammo is too hard to see because of the color... a bright grayish color does not contrast well.

I think the visibility of the arrow trails depends greatly on your connection speed. Us 56k'ers don't see squat.
