need some help

I have XP, and I am trying in install Chaosut2003, my problem is all the files are u extenions and I tried changing it so windows would recongize the the file extentions u and int but it does not work. I tired following the directions they supply but I just don't get it. Any help for this well meaning newbie???

Leave the files as is with them in the correct directories. When in UT2003 when you select the chaos mutator it will automatically open and read them.

I don't get it's not in the list of avaible mutators

hmm, lets make sure you installed it correctly: If you have the umod, you simply point it at your main UT2003 directory and let it go. Immediately after closing it should be on your list.
For the zip. right click on the zip and click extract all. Point it at your c:\ut2003 directory (assuming thats your install location) and extract the files. You can immediately startup UT2003 and should have it selectable. Try re-installing it using those methods and if it doesnt work post again.
Oh yeah: is the KOTH gametype in your list?

duh , when I extracted the files, i didn't put them in the ut2003 directory, thanks
