Chaotic Dreams

First of all, I have to say that this mod is AWESOME! Great work team! If this mod doesn't bring home all the bacon in the mod contest I'll be completely surprised

Secondly, I have some dumb questions about it. I either can't find this info or I'm totally stupid. Or both

Can you play in arena mode with this mod? Say if we only wanted to use the sniper. (WHICH FREAKING ROCKS BTW)

Also, when playing in instant action, You can't choose the mod unless you're playing Koth?? Or did I do something wrong.

Once again, please pardon my ignorance. I feel really dumb asking this stuff I just want to be sure I have everything covered before putting it on our server.

The weapons all appear in the weapons database, and all can be run in arena (you will have to disable the chaos mod or set settings to never cycle, cant remember which). Note that if you dont run the mod i dont know if the weapon option key will work or if you will get both ammo types.

The mutator can be used in any gametype, but KOTH requires the mutator at the moment to work properly (this is planning on being fixed in a hotfix we are working on).

If you want to find online games in non koth matches, boot up the normal UT and go to play online. In the filter select the mutator options, set it to "This Mutator" and set the new pop up box to Chaos. Then uncheck the boxes at the top of the page (these prevent some servers from appearing). Now if you select the DM or CTF, etc, tags only Chaos matches will be displayed.

EDIT: oh yeah i forgot. If you havent already take a look at our manual. After install it can be found in its own folder in your UT2003\help directory. Its also availible online at: http://dynamic4.gamespy.com/~chaotic/in ... fodocs.php

so weapon option isnt a server setting right, if not, if its always on then that explains some things

correct. Weapon option is a key you can press to change what the alt fire of a gun does. You can bind it in your Settings -> Controls tab, scroll all the way down and you will see a Chaos section.
