Developement Update

Folks

just to give you an update we have release an RC version of CUT2 1.02. Now this release was our planned bug fixes and tweaks given your feedback. It really does not add anything new other than a few options that you asked for. Here is what we have corrected:
Changes/Fix since V1.01
- Fixed issues with some of the spray paint textures from wraping around objects as a few of them had the wrong setting for their clamp value
- Fixed issue with Laser Dots (Sniper/RL) that would show up on some systems with a box around them
- Tweaked Proxy AI so that they dont go after "dead" people as much
- Added back in Crossbow weapon discription
- Proxies now blow up at the end of the game vrs jumping around
- Proxies now expode when they touch a Killz zone
- Proxies now arm a bit quicker when they hit an "enemy"
- Proxies are now slighlty effected by flash (meaning a direct hit on a proxy may cause it to loose its enemy
- Firing animations are allowed to play a bit longer and you can see the "PutDown" animations when the weapon fires its last shot and has to change to a new weapon. Note we need a new model of the claw2 and Xbow with out any arrows in it to have a perfect fix.
- Arrow Trailers now are much longer to make them easier to see
- Added in user option to turn off CUT News tab to make it more 56k friendly. Note this is a hidden option so and you have to edit you ChoasUT.ini to activate it.
- Added in display text to indicate the AWO key for CUTRL and Sniper (just like the Xbow it will tell you what mode its in)
- Added in option to display Xhairs when the laser dot is avtivated for both Sniper and CUTRL
- Bot are now effected by Flashgrenades
- CUT Server Broswer now fitlers for CUT2 mut and list only those games
- Fixed rotation of HeadGib on walls
- Fixed issue of being able to remove heads on team mates with xbow in Team games
- Adrenaline combos are now working in on-line KOTH games
- Removed the vortex shell that would show up if you were killed and in the process of firing the Vortex (on-line games only)
- Tweaked the CUT Server Broswer to allow for the more popular voted one
- Fixed the issue where you lost your abiltiy to grapple (at least we think we go it this time)
- Fixed Specator bug where you can not get into a game on-line when you joined as a specator (well...we have a work around)
- Fixed bug where you can not find KoTH servers on-line
- Fixed bug where you loose credit for a poison arrow death if you die at the same time
- Resetted the grapple a bit quicker when the grapple was shot into a kill zone
- Added in a xloc pickup
As you have seen from the melee we are working on the next gen stuff. We still have some open ended questions on the turret (one big one like CUT or two small ones like q2 or a combination of the two). But we have already start to code in the basic of the turret (spawning and target identification). Stay tuned for further info and thanks for your time and playing Chaos!
