Actualy, I think its hilarious. I do believe that our sound guy made that one specialy for me. I could be wrong. If i am, then i think that he had me inmind when he made it. im sure youll find more of our inside jokes as you play.

Yeah, I guess I did make that one for you, Loq. A long time ago I was messing around and figured out how to do a nearly perfect borg voice, so one day while working on proxy voices, it hit me: Borg proxies! And then I thought, "I bet Loq'd love that", so I went ahead and made it.

yea i love it when im standing in a room full of them and some one else runs in and thay say that. Its almost poetic. HAHAHA

I also like the song that they sing alot.

It would be funny to list all what they say, there is also

HEY shadow star , great job on all of the proxy sounds (good lord theres alot of them) and as I was browsing them in unrealed I noticed that 2 of the sounds repeat! the sounds in question are proxy_vortex02 and proxy_vortex04. just thot i'd point that out...

any way , is there anyway for me too seperate the proxy sounds for use in a windows sound scheme...?

my favorite is " well I once was a pr...HOLY SH...WAaAaAaAaAHHHH!!!"

EDIT: the use of a certain EQualizer preset can actually restore proxy sounds to their original , unproxyfied form...

You can extract the proxy sounds by opening the file in unrealed and using the extract (or export?) function in the file menu I believe. I think you have to do it one at a time though. I never thought of using them in a windows sound scheme, but that does sound like a cool idea.

Anyway, if you can't figure it out, let me know and I might be able to email you the original sounds, including some that didn't make it into the game!

If anyone here knows how to do windows themes, maybe we could make a Chaos Theme which stars the proxies as sound effects! I think we certainly have enough talent on the team to put together all the neccessary parts of it.

I haven't made windows theme yet, but my AIM sounds are all proxies

I might be working on a proxy theme for windows soon too including wallpaper and sounds

Cool, let us know how it turns out. I think that's something that would benefit the Chaos community as a whole.

I could probably even make up some proxy sounds specificly for the theme.
