i have found two mutators that make Chaos battles unbelivable one is called fog match and the other is night shift

the first one fills the level with customizable fog you can set the thickness of it and the color makes levels a blast because you have no idea where you are going,

the second one makes the level night with the execption of a few lights and a player radius another match that is unbelivable
this one i know is part of the xxxpac.zip of mutators

the other one i just found after a little bit of looking
if your intrested in taking a look at one of these email me at unreal_bitterman@yahoo.com or you can just do some searching

i would love to see one of these placed on an online server for chaos some time

I'd just copy then edit the levels if I want fog in them. But a mutator would make it much easier.

First I'd like to say thanks much to bitterman for sending me that fogmatch mut . and I'd like to take the liberty of posting a link to where you can get it at. http://usa.internations.net/assassin/fogmatch.zip so that no more of you have to go throughth e fruitless Online search that I went through.

Now on to buisness. I recall that someone earliear posted , wondering where darkmatch was . your(you chaotic guys) response was that You would work on it when You see a darkmatch mutator that really works. ok , chaos guys. download the fogmatch mut. set fog to black , and thickness to 6.

VOILA!!! DARKMATCH!!!

Yes, there was talk about the old Chaos Darkmatch from the Q2 day. And yes, one of the guys was concerned about whether or not it could be done right.

I'll check out that stuff sometime soon, thanks guys for the info.

*BTW- One of the things I miss most isn't just the old DarkMatch itself, but the flashlight we had back then too. It was available in all games, not just DarkMatch, and so many maps these days are pretty 'darkmatch' all be themselves.
