hey from the looks of it you guys are doing several melee weapons
are you planing on having a melee only game type?

hey speaking of which .... I was wondering if its possible to add lock-targeting to the uh melee weap mutators... as another mutator? There is this mod called pain2k3 that has this weapon called the D12a that has a second function that allows you to lock on to targets (ala metriod prime or zelda and many many other games).

The way the D12a's lock on works is it fires a tracer in Tick. When it hits someone, it sets them as the target. If the weapon has a target, it points it's instigator's controller at said target and fires the trace as usual to see if there's something in the way of you and your target. If the tracer doesn't hit the target, the lock is lost.
