all you have to do is throw a proxie in mine mode, stand right on top of it and kick it. this will send you (and the proxy mine) into the air. you can kick as much as you want and simply appear to "float".
This is a beautiful trick on face. won many games that way.

Ok on the subject of kicking proxies , in CUT:E when you kick a sleeping procy it doesnt budge , but as soon as the proxy awakes , the kick will "kick in" and the proxy will fly off , anlso , multiple kicks will increase the distance launched upon proxy awakening... this is especially funny when you give a proxy 10 or so kicks , and a single shot fron the AR

In the UT verison (I think before verison 1.1) I could stand on a proxy and when it hop around I would go along with it. I could even survive very high falls this way. Another trick I could do was throw (alt fire) a proxy onto a wall and when it goes to "sleep", I could jump on it and throw other ones onto the wall, sort of making a "proxy ladder". Not sure if it works in the new verison as it might blow up on you.

This also works with books in UT1. I made a map once where there was a book lying on a table. I jumped on the book and happened to hit it with my impact hammer and it sent me flying like crazy. It has to do with the way UT1 handles its physics.
UT2 is different. You'd more likely slide off the proxy if you stood on it, plus there's the fact that the proxies really don't like people stepping/standing on them and will blow your foot off if you try it.

Well for some eason the proxies didnt wake up (probably because they were mine) andwhen i kicked them, they rose into the air and i went with them. Maybe theres just sometyhing wrong with my UT, but its till pretty funny.
