UnrealChampionship Maps for ChaosUT2:E?

Could the team include as a standalone map pack, a UnreaChampionship remake map pack for ChaosUT2? I loved the maps in that game that were not in UT2003/Bonus packs.
I remember epic saying a while ago that the maps in UC that werent in UT2k3 or pc were not going to be brought to the pc , this gave UC something unique, I don't think Epic would be to thrilled if Cut2 went bhind their backs , and remade em anyway...
plus , IMO its better if this team devotes their time to producing Original content , and of course , MORE WEAPONS!!!
