question on melee...

all the melee attacks are dependent on how you moved before you attacked right? or are there going to be special attacks for each ammo slot?

There will be some special attacks but more based on your movement...again may have a special weapon attack..not sure yet.

I remember you saying a while back that the JK2 melee was somewhat of a goal/role model for your own melee system , well , can you/are you going to include something like the saber lockups from jk2? those were always fun , and gave quite an adrenaline rush online.

Well techinally I dont see how two pices of metal can lock, light sabers sure

But I agree that would be cool to do..not sure how to get it in ATM.

err...the fight got so wild and intense that the friction of the two swords caused them to , uhh, fuse together???

lol either that or one blade was shaper then the other.... and erm ...... it uh....... managed to cut in and get stuck into the duller blade. yeah yeah thats it... it got stuck

You mean like when the sword slide along eachother till both 'hilts' are touching and the two are face to face.... but that would be hard to code I would think, if not even impossible in this engine... dunno... probably not in this release anyway if its possible... jb?

actually , the saber lockups in JK2 were more along the lines of , two peoples swords meet , at opposite angles , they collide in midair , and each player ends up pushing the other's saber , while the other pushes back , in the end , the person who is strongest(the person who can hit the attack button the fastest) knock's the other person down , and their saber from their hands.
