I have been having a big argument with a friend of mine lately , and to Settle , I feel , that we should ask the Kind Hearted citizens of the chaotic dreams forum what Their opinion is.

Halo 2 hands down!

g** dammit , the poll system here never seems to agree with me...

What a question, HL2 of course!

I'm more interested in Halo 2 in terms of the actual game, but I'll love the abundance of mods for HL2.

funny thing on those mods , I can even name a few UT2k3 mods that were developed halfway , then swiyched over to HL2's source engine

it seems that HL2 Has in fact been delayed to April 2004 for those of you who dont already know..

finally , anyone who has a good Halo2 site that I can put into the first post , please post it here or PM me , cause I had one , but now I've flat out lost it.

The three reasons for me to vote for Half Life 2:
1.

Well Believe it or not It Was a friend of mine. albiet that was more than a year ago but there was no lie there.
Infact , me and the same friend's argument spurred on the Batman versus Spiderman thread.

ofcourse , on topic , now that I've played both games , I can say without doubt HL2 rocks and Halo2 merely attempts to rock but fumbles with the chords and cant manage to keep a firm grip on the guitar pick.

i have played a bit of halo and thru HL2 and i find none all that special

Halo2-very good,but a MS game,which means it has the dumb "wait for 6 months you pc users or buy our crappy console" policy
Half life 2 while good,got stale fast becouse of lack of enemies,jumping puzzles and it was very short

so none of them warrants as cool(which is above very good)

Umm, thre are No plans to port Halo 2 to PC. None.

Halo 2 was too short

Umm, thre are No plans to port Halo 2 to PC. None.

there were none for halo1 too iirc,but they did it so they can cash in more buck from halo gamers who hoped that tehre would be more in the PC version(which there pretty much wasnt)

soo i guess it will be the same

On the other hand HL2 is pure gold either. It comes with my personal nemesis STEAM and the engine is still full of BSPs and all the problems that come along with those...
