Mac OS 9 only supports 32 character names!!!!!!

someone has already probably spouted about this, but...
some of us use mac os 9 and are disapointed in version 1.1 because it has a banner image (i think it is chaosut_version1.1_Install_banner.bmp or something) which has a name longer than 32 characters, and thus will not install via u mod and stops umod instal processes when it fails. Is there a umod compiliation which has a truncated image name???? Any other good fix? (besides getting a job, cash, then a pc or os X supporting mac)

Sorry about that issue. If I remember correctly, it was fixed in v1.02.
Also, with the help of our new MAC-using beta tester, Gamer119, we are attempting to ensure we remain hassle-free for you guys in the future.
In addition, the Install page of our online manual has been updated with some info Gamer put together for me.

Also, the zip install should work on macs if i remember correctly, though it requires a bit of file dragging and dropping.

Ooops. I think he's talking about CUT, and I replied about CUT2.
I forget what the deal was about CUT. Gamer, can you help me out here?

You should be able to grab the zip and do a manual install. I played Chaos with UT, but it came on my GOTYE disk, so I never actually had to install anything chaos. Unfortunately, the manual Flagg has pointed you to is for unreal tournament 2003 and won't be of help to you. I've only been around here since the release of Chaos for UT2k3, so I don't know who was responsible for the umods and other files previously.

Well, I'll give the zip a shot. I wish i even had the ability to have troubles with CUT 2, but this old 500mhz box doesn't cut it for ut2003.
