Compatiablilty with monkey matrix moves.?

well heres a q.. ijust tried this mod and loved it. and thought.. this would be so fun with melee, slowly swingin a flmaing sowrd towards someones neck. lol
with teh fre and sword tralĂling behind. or thowing an axe or spear or soemthing.
anwyay. just wondered.. is this going to be compatible. with the new melee system?.

no worries.. i kinda realise this project is mroe long term anyway... youve got plans for ut2004 already which wont be out for another few months.. no matter how much people want everything sooner.. looks like it will be six months before teh release of pr3.

Actually we were planning on releasing PR3 in January for the next deadline of the MSU contest.

Ok, but anybody wanna take bets that the contest deadline for Phase3 will be pushed back?
I'm betting it will not be in January. My guess is at least March. At least.

No, I don't take that bet... DJPaul still owns me money from the last one

so I have nothing to bet with

Anyways, I read in an Unreal University report that Epic have said, they push back Phase 3 for at least two month to give the mod makers the chance to adapt their mod better to UT2004...

PR3 in JAN?.. how on earth are you going to make that thats only like 9 weeks away and pr2 isnt out yet!!.

I don't know if we're going for Jan or not. But one thing - Duel has taken a
lot of time - once that is out the door, we'll be able to focus on some really cool new things

I hadn't heard that... That's good, since we're going to be pushed for time as it is. Of course, we're all going to have alot of playing and experimenting to do when UT2004 comes out.
As a mapper, the new range of vehicle and gameplay types to design with is quite drool-worthy in itself.
Imagine a cross between swashbuckling pirates and large-scale space combat... A Space Pirates map, where everyone has a sword and some kind of futuristic gun, and can fly space fighters and duel with swords in the bridge of a capital ship...
That's just one of the maps I'm going to make, but of course I can't really know until I get my hands on it

mm i hope the controls are halo like.. they are seriosuly very fun to play
hehe to balance yoru swashbuckling idea

. have like 3 levels of fighting.. lol. futuristic weapons wiht limited charges, then arrows.. limited. then melee weapons with durability, and finally good old fist bashing

..
its unbeleivable the amount of mods out there.. UNWHEEL fo rinstance seems to havea reptty neat system down.. the handling works fairly well to anything else ive tried.

. race wise that is..

.. i downloaded jsut about every mod i could find.. going through and testing em.. and you could get some rather cool effects already jjust by combing these mnutators and mods..
like the invasion base types... where all monsters spawn in one base that you have ot infiltrate with yoru team..
seriously.. . there is some neat stuff outta the community.. chaos UT Duel will be soooooo sweet though.. im just drooling wanting to try mele out in invasion
