Hello again,

just designed a new map: the DesertGrave.

It's in betastatus and i like to get some comments on the actual layout of this map.

Duel-DesertGrave Beta 0.6:

Known Bugs:
- Skybox not detailed enough
- animal skeletons got graphic bugs - but they will be replaced with new static meshes anyway (more detailed ones)

- There is no mappreview in the menu yet.

I dont played it yet but I think the map is to big.

And there arent any funny things in it.

But looks good. :)

Play it before telling me, its too big ;)

But you're right, there aren't any funny things in it - perhaps you could tell me, which i should add?

Played it. Its not too bad. Could use maybe a few other types of bones in there to give it some varity (like a scull, leg, arm bones, ect). Good map though!

and i think the size is very good
but in front of the bone it is overlighted.

Yep, some more various objects are planned - but i just don't have a good programm to make some good objects, but i should have one the next days.

Like you can imagine, making bones and skulls with the UnrealED is very difficult :) Thats why the actual bones look terrible.

That map would be great with a cool skybox. I'd be willing to make a skybox for you if you want. Actually, I use sky cylinders (or sometimes sky cones), but lemme know. I have to warn you though: since my skyboxes use custom graphics, it will greatly increase the size of your map, since all the skybox graphics will go into the myLevel package.

Ok. If you want some advice about programs you can use, lemme know. I have all sorts of sky-making stuff.
