ChaosUT2 mutator problems

hello, just wondering if someone more wiser could help me
i got ChaosUT2 (lastest version) off the Chaos website
i installed it after getting patch v.2225
i got the map pack #1 and #2
so the game starts up, i click instant action
then i go into the mutator section and select the Chaos mod
I then select one of the Chaos maps and run it
It comes up with a message saying "URL not found; Can't find file for package '__Pack' ".
Kinda annoying, hope someone can help me!!

What's up? OK, you gotta have the DE and Epic bonus packs for this to run, you know. If you already have those... Post here again, and we'll see what we can do.

Are you sure you have the complete PR2.0 files and then the 2.01 patch?

you only need the epic pack,DE isnt required

DE bonus pack is required. ( sorry to contradict ya) Eventhough, the mod may run without the DE bonus pack we always require all Epic/DE packages and the latest Updates for simplicitys sake.

Well sheez i been runnin CUT2 with only epic bonus pack
works fine for me all the time

And it just might for now... But if we use something from the DE pack, if you don't have it, then it will stop working. They were both official releases, hence we 'require' them as LoQtUS said, for simplicity and less headaches

Got it to work. All I can say is WOW!!!!!! Melee is kinda odd, but very interesting. My two fav weapons are the Chaos Sniper Rifle + ERDS. Why you ask? Cause you wait in a secluded spot with the sniper rifle looking for bodies...find one...whip out ERDS and FIRE!!!! And grappling hook...was playing around on Face 3 (love that map!) with translcator + grappling hook, much fun!
Amazing mod Chaos Team, AMAZING!
Can't wait till multiplayer
