Dunno if anyone found out about this yet, but it's possible to ride UT2k4 vehicles that are being driven by someone else, even if there isn't a passenger seat. To see this in action, play ONS in the demo, and hop onto one of the fans of a manta and wait for a bot to enter the vehicle. When he flies off, you'll be along for the ride, unless something knocks you off. In MP, you can load up 2 people (3 with driver) onto the manta and use it as a personnel transport. It's also great if you manage to land on an enemy vehicle with an exposed driver. You can shoot the driver and take over the vehicle.

I have had 5 people mantas,2 in the middle,2 on the fans and 1 in the seat

yeah I usually do that if I can get to the vehicle before someone drives off I would carry a Avril with me to try to shoot down other vehicles while am on. Thought sometimes I fall off when that happens.

If you feel like more stupidity (not that riding on vehicles is really stupid, but anyway... ) try getting a manta on top of a raptor (the jump ability helps), then working together to lift the manta to the top of the tower or something :p It can be done without a person in the manta, but it requires a lot more skill on the part of the pilot. Dunno if there's a practical use for this, but it's fun anyway.

This way, you can kill any vehicle, simply by jumping on it and shooting. With scorpians, you can even take out da pilot.

That's the idea. And it works, too, cuz vehicles dominate the battlefield. It's nice to have a way to deal with it if your team steals all the rides.
