CUT vehicles

hello again!
I was just wondering: considering that you are completely re-defining UT2004 by moving over, will there be any CUT modified vahicles?
by the way I love the new turret.

I just had another thought:
There are new UT2004 weapons, are you going to re-do them as well?
And what of turrets? Will you just replace turrets with CUt turrets modified to hold the players?
It seems there may still be some work to do, no doubt you guys will enjoy it!

What I wanna know is how are players going 2 do repairs on vehicles and/or nodes w/o the Linkgun will Chaos be bringing out something to do this or are players going 2 need 2 put in on cycle between so you get the normal and chaos weapons?

And as far as the poll goes I luved the MUG in UT99 and can't wait 2 get my hands on it in 2k4... so IMO I'd have 2 say no the MUG is a perfect replacment for the Link gun but then that also brings up my question about repair jobs in 2k4...

AFAIK we didn't replace any of the original weapons at all, our weapons are additions and cycle with the ones made by EPIC. I don't think that's going to change for the LG.

It is however possible for a mapper to do a level that does not contain the LinkGun... ;)

Yeah, it's a big question. Should CUT make a completely separate repair thingy, or just leave it?

There's lot's of ways we can deal with the issue of the Link Gun in ChaosONS. Perhaps the easiest method would simply be to have it so that no matter what option you choose for Chaos weapons, the Link Gun is not removed from ONS.

And Scorian, I think it's unlikely we'll modify the existing vehicles. Our guys are much more likely to make their own from scratch. (there's at least a couple ideas being worked on now, besides the Hoverboard)

We had a "game plan" we are trying to complete before UT2k4 got here. We missed it. So now we are trying to use that "game plan" as a first pass of CUT2 in UT2k4. Once we play around a bit more with UT2k4 then we can have a better idea of what we need to tweak as far as "normal" stuff goes.

Turrets are like the turrets of old. The are a super weapon and have intelligent tracking systems. So they will be able to watch that node for you....
