I got a problem getting the maps to show up...

When I activate the mod and go to choose a map there are no maps there. I noticed that my "Use Only Official Maps" box is checked. I tried to uncheck it, but it is greyed out and cannot be changed. Is there somewhere in the .ini file where I can uncheck this box?

Ooh, that's a bad one. I'll add the line to our default.ini next Chaos version so it automatically turns the Official Maps option off when you run Chaos.
Wait a minute, looking for the .ini setting.
Edit: Try this:
[GUI2K4.UT2K4Tab_MainBase]
bOnlyShowOfficial=False

ermm,what gametype?whats your zip/umod size?what version?is it UT2004?do you have the CUT splash screen,menu and stuff?do you see the mutator

that reminds me... you said VCTF and CTF maps appeared in the CCTF gametype and yet when I opened it even though I had a VCTF map it did not appear in the catagory.

I tried adding that line to the default.ini. It didn't seem to do anything.

Gametype: Duel
Zipsize: don't remember
Game Version: UT2k4 v3204
Yes I have the chaos splash screen, menu, and stuff when I activate the mod
Edit:
btw, the version I got was from the DB Central mirror.

No, sorry I wasn't clearer.
Open your ChaosUT2.ini. Do a search for
[GUI2K4.UT2K4Tab_MainBase]. Then find bOnlyShowOfficial=True, and change it to False.

As a side note, the GUI2K4.UT2K4Tab_MainBase setting is found in the ChaosUT2User.ini file though. But that worked!!!!!
