speed hack error

When my buddies and i play, and i am the host they get an error that says speed hack error. Does anybody know what this means?

Your system is probably having trouble keeping up and the server is running slower than it should, tripping the error even tho your buddies are running normal speeds

I think the Speed Hack false warnings were introduced in the last patch, and will be fixed in the next.

This is a problem with the 3204 patch. I'm not sure if the new patch fixed it or not. If you are having this problem open your server ini file. Look for a line that says TimeMarginSlack=1.35 in the Engine.LevelInfo section. Bump the 1.35 up until you don't get this error anymore. I set mine to 2.00 and don't have a problem any more. Keep in mind that the higher you set it the more of a chance that a real speed hacker will slip through the check.
If someone knows for sure if this was fixed in 3236 I would like to know.
