Weapon skins...
Weapon skins...
I have no skins for my CUT weapons. The textures are there before I pick them up, but, when I use them, all I see is a reflective surface. And certain ones, like the Grenade Launcher, have no skin BEFORE I pick 'em up, then auto-magically gain textures after I have 'em in my hands. Did I do something wrong, or is this another bug? Please help me, here.
No dice. Tried it. It may be a bug in UT2004, since I also have several player skins that do the same thing. I dunno. Gunnplay nothing looks wrong in your log. U said that other skins have this issue? If thats the case I hate to do this, but maybe re-install UT2k4 as installing Chaos will not effect other skins. It sounds like there is some issue going on there that Chaos happens to be effected by as well. You don't have to remove your UT2k4 dir, just install right back on top..... Other than that I have no idea and sad to say your the only one I know of with this bug

I reinstalled. Same thing. It's probably an issue with my incomprehensibly out-of-date video card. Actually, it came with the M/B. A SIS 300 something or other, I have to check again. Everything else on UT2004 and Chaos works great, though. Spectacular job on the mod and I wish you guys the best of luck. Oh, since I'm here, one question. Why can't you blast dead bodies around in Chaos? I know in UT2004, I could bounce a body around until it disappeared. But, in Chaos, after the initial Karma physics take over, there seems to be nothing else you can do with it. Was this overlooked, or is it a design choice?
