Chaos Bot AI bug

I was just playing a dueling game with the bots. After I lost my head to one of them the next round started up. Two bots headed for each other from two corners on the same side of the map just stopped before either of them made an attack and standing on the edge of the lava pit. The map I'm refering to is Archenemy. The bots just sit there doing nothing and neither fall into the pit. So hopefully this gets to one of the Devs to fix it. But other than that, great transition from the original Chaos and keep the excitement coming to all the other fans.

Thanks for posting this. I had a look at the path network and there are paths around the grate holes. It seems you just witnessed a combination of bad timing and bots who weren't aggressive enough to jump over, and too lazy to walk around. If it happens frequently, let us know (a rebuild of the pathing may be needed), but I wouldn't worry about it unless it does. Thanks.

it happens frequently,and i dont think it needs to be fixed
also sometimes they jump over,hit someone,fall down

Yeah like anyone plays single.
Sheesh!
But if it's not too much problem, fixing the AI would help the mod a lot and at least make the noobs a little more experienced when they come online.
And make the godlike mode a little harder please? For example, they have perfect aim, know excatly when to hit (excellent timing) and when to dodge and be able to pathfind perfectly... Lol!
I know that I learned nothing from the bots! They're so dumb!!!

well you can't expect much from the bots in terms of AI and Melee. Teaching them all the different moves , and when to use them , and when in the animation would be the best time to connect , is just impossible. I believe that their current AI (Angry Carrots) is about as good as its going to get.
However I could be wrong.

My main issue with Melee bots is that in LMS Duel most if not all of them stop attacking eachother and rush human players

yea ive seen the bots in archenemy doing this if i'm still alive i like to kick em.. its funny now where talking bout maps in Duel Arena its possible to stand a lil above the sawblade without getting hurt fun to do ....

Thats not just a Melee thing, Thats an epic AI thing that I've complained about for a while.
They do it in DM/TDM/CTF/ONS/Everything
The bots prioritize human players and ignore each other when there is a human around.
