Duel is nice...

The melee system is kinky and new and whatnot, but for the love of God, I'd like to play something aside from it at least once a day. There are at any given time an average of 3 duel servers and 0 of any other type. If you're lucky you might find DM or ChaosDM server up, but they usually show up with no ping or filled with bots.

C'mon, people. Duel is only part of the game. Lets start actually using the weapons that FIRE BULLETS.

Please?

That's simply not true. I mean, I understand you want more than Duel, so do I. And yes, Duel has probably been the most popular servers so far...,

however, there has been an average of - at least - a dozen or so Chaos servers since the release (and that's just using the in-game browser, there might be more).

There are ONS, Chaos CTF, Chaos DM, regular DM, INV and more. Just last night as a matter of fact, I played KOTH on Flak's server with a bunch of other folks:

I stunk it up, but it was much fun. Flak has a great server.

However, like many servers, they change game types at will. Many of these are by mapvote, so you just jump in, and vote at end of each round.

And a tip: for whatever odd reason, many players will update their browsers all night, and not join an empty server. However, if just one person makes the jump...., others will follow. This happens time and again. Don't be afraid to be first one in, if you really wanna play. Others will usually follow.

You can also come looking for games in the Chaos IRC. Just pop in and ask if anyone wants to go at it, sometimes that'll work.

Then I think there might be something in my firewall blocking most servers from showing up. I'm used to seeing NO servers. At all.
