the Spectate option? i cringed on the servers that didnt have spectate available, sometimes, I liked to watch others on my server, when I couldnt play cuz i was busy, but still wanted to hear what was going on. And then when i was ready I could return quick and easy to the same party, but now you removed it? I dont remember reading any bugs with that spectate.

your just upset you can't watch and laugh at us while you slap, kick or whatever. I think its a great thing they removed it. alot of people just sit there and talk trash about the people playing and the change is great. What needs to be added is a pain factor for those runners who like to sit on spikes or whatever and wait. Whoever stands still longer then 3 seconds should take damage. That would be nice but would make even more runners.........Oh well I'm sure someone will come up with something.

The specate option in deul caused a heck of alot of big bad ugly bugs. The coders valiantly fought to defeat them, but in the end the specate option had to be sacrificed for the greater good.

There was also an exploit where two players that were dueling could both enter spectator mode bring the game to a standstill. So we are trying to find the best approach to prevenet abuse like this from happening...
