The coolest thing about the cutter/ripper is no longer there

the thing i used to love about the ripper was the terrifying sound it used to make that sound of metal slicing through mid air when u heard that sound u knew u were either dead, u were about to die or u just survived with a new hair cut. i suggest putting a sound like that back in.

There was no change to the ripper that we ment to do. If a sound got dropped it was a mistake. We can look into it.

Interesting... I have a few concepts that may work, if we want a new one. I don't recall there being anything special in there right now, if there ever was... Maybe he was referring to the sounds of the original Q2 Buzzsaw? I particularly liked that weapon because the blades were much bigger than the cutter blades.

no im definatly talking about the old epic UT one the one that came with the GOTY edition. it made a whirring sound it sounded real cool when u used the lazy matrix mutator
and thanxs for looking into it that sound always made the ripper for me

The sound I was thinking of using is a rough, sharp buzzy sound, rather than a rush of air. Anyway, when I get back into it I'll try some different things and see what sounds best.
