Black Knight

Who did the model/skin of the knight? Would you mind making a black skin for it. It would be so much fun to run around making monty pythons holy grail puns.

there was one,darkened,made the red a bit more evil looking,replaced the cross with pentragram,but as it was only a rebrighten job,the creator of the original skin requested to have it removed becouse it was only a rebrighten and a mockery of his skin
*mind that the poster might have exxagareted it a bit and doesnt want to flame the one who requested to have it removed,neo,the poster aplogises in advance if he considers like that*

That's not quite correct.
I did
not ask for the skin to be removed. Madogg did that on his own.
I just mentioned that I don't consider it a good texture as it was just a dark overpaint (which resulted in de-saturated colors that went bye-bye in the dark). Plus I mentioned that I am not a big fan of overpaints at all for various reasons.
But I also offered my help and my data twice for anyone who wants to do a skin. Sadly I haven't heard from Madogg since so I assume he has given up texturing.

but youve got a admit it WAS a nice option for thoose who like the darker colors,i dont ak for much,only a option to not run around with a goody two shoes looking one
i surely wish someone makes a dark templar remake which doesnt desaturate the colors so much,so it can be spread around a bit
and you did say that you didnt like it,that it was a thievery or whatever.....i dont think anyone would like to release his skin after that

No, he didn't release it. His choice, not mine.
But it's a pity that he didn't try to create a better skin.
BTW, if he
would've decided to release it I would've written him PM with how I feel about it and asked him again to try to create a skin from scratch, because that'd result in a better texture.

99% of it isn't even your own work. You just took the color out of my skin, made it a lot darker and painted a pentagram over geometry that is the shape of a cross. Same for the head.
And that's why it doesn't work. My skin was white. If you just darken it, all the subtle colors and details get lost immediately. To get proper dark colors you'll have to repaint from scratch. And TBH: Simple paint-overs are commonly considered artistic fraud.
Why don't you try to paint ypur own skin? If you want to I'll get you all the 3d data and the flats I did to start from. That should make it easier.
