Chaotic Dreams

Hey all..
Since I have a LAN,I decided to install UT1(G.O.T.Y. Edition)and install Chaos on it..
It installed and I downloaded the 1.1 from the dl section..but after I installed and try to host a server(Non-dedicated),the game crashes and tells me that it can't find package 'ChaosUTMedia4' ..

I really wanted to get the server working with 1.1,so all the help is apreciated.

I take it you have the full 1.1 version?

Does it crash if play off-line against the bots?

Also did you get the Unreal Tournament v436, Bonus Pack 1, and Bonus Pack 4 installed as well?

Offline it doesn't crash,and I have the 1.0 to 1.1 patch..
Yes I have the 436 patch,but about the bonus packs...
I have the bonus packs from the oficial site,installed by order on the G.O.T.Y. edition.

And it does work vs bots offline.

EDIT:Now I tryed using only the bonus packs and it doesn't crash the server..Do the official bonus packs include the 1.1 update?
Also when I try 1.1 it doesn't let me configure chaos ingame.

It sound like you installed the v1 to v1.1 on top of the GOTYE version, yes? If so, you need to get the v1.1 full as the GOTYE version is pre v1 code. There are also some .ini entries that you should check on the server pc, the manual lists the entries you should verify are there. Let us know if this helps...

Oh I didn't know GOTY was pre 1..
I installed the patch over GOTY withouth installing any other chaos related downloads and it worked..
I know I should get 1.1,I'll try to dl it when I can..(I don't play lan that much,next time I play I'll do what you said).

Just a question wasn't there a 1.01 version that could also be downloaded as a patch for GOTY?

There was no beta to v1.1 patch, only beta to v1.0 and a v1.0 to v1.1 patch, sorry.
