Hi there, I don't know if it's just me but ChaosUT2004 won't work with multiplayer for me.
Any help would be good.

Exactly what happens
invalid cdkey
tries to download files
cant connect

Tries to download files and weapons WILL NOT show up on joining computer. (With the mod obviously, I'm not that stupid) lol

which files? what server? if its trying to DL system files that are chaos specific either you dont have the mod switch enabled, or you dont have the latest patch.
Let us know what server and basic file name so that we can tell if its the server, files, or something else.

so you get this error when trying to play in a lan with your friends?
How are you starting the servere (Dedicated or listen)?

It happens on both, if the server is playing he will have the chaos weapons, but any computer that joins will not.

then it sounds like the PC acting as the server does not have the proper settings.
to the [Engine.GameEngine] part of the ut2004.ini add:
ServerPackages=ChaosGames
ServerPackages=ChaosUT
save and taht should do it.

Now it comes up with a message saying Recieving ChaosEsounds3.
Help me...

it doesnt sound like its installed correctly.
What file did you install it from ?

iirc in some other thread it was said to be the problem of a specific OS
are the computers using linux?

I think Loq is right. Double check to make sure all chaos files are in the chaosut2 folder except for 5 (ini/ucl/int) that will be in your main system folder.
Also how are you staring the server? Are you using the Chaos menu? Or do you start normal UT? Its best if you first activate chaos on both PCs first...
