Sniping Query

I have a question. Just tell me if the following theory is correct or not, please.
If the weapon hand of a player is set to right, then the weapon camera (the camera through which the player can see where he is shooting, etc.) is placed to the upper left corner of the weapon. Hence, the weapon always flies towards the crosshair even if it appears to be flying out from the lower right corner of the screen. This allows the player to see a projectile flying out from the lower right corner of the screen (like right-handed shooting-from-the-hip) and yet still hit any obstacles which are superimposed by the crosshair. Actually, the weapon hits the lower right of the crosshair, so snipers (when not zooming) need to aim at the upper left of the enemy's head in order to get a headshot.
