getting the following Critical Error and loading into the mod from the UT2004 game itself

UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2004-11-11_10.48]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 1101 MHz with 255MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti 200 (6693)

Failed to enter ChaosNoIntro.ut2: Can't find file 'ChaosNoIntro.ut2'

History: UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine <- FMallocWindows::Free

any ideas??

hmm,did you instlal the full game or only patch?becouse youre missing a map file

copy intro.U2 from /maps to /ChaosUt/Maps and rename it to ChaosNoIntro.U2

the actual extension is .ut2, not .u2

yes what version did you have and what did you try to install it to? Did you go from say ECE to PR3.6 using the PR3.6 update?
