need help

Ok I am trying to install the umod file but when I try to dubeul clike the on the file nothing happends.

Was this after you installed the ECE patch? If so try to apply the 3339 patch and that should fix the umod association.

I think in the readme file there is a link to a program that decompresses the umod file. Use that. If that doesn't work try creating a folder and unzipping the file and extract it to the folder. If I was at home I could give you better detail on how to do it. I had the same problem.

Similar thing happened to me. Right click on the icon and go to 'open with'. Somehow, either the epic bonus pack or the patch tends to duplicate the 'Umod runner' and you will see two or more 'Umod runner's there. Try them all. One of them will work, the other(s) wont.

I dont see any umod runners when I open with the icon. Oh and I have the latist pach and the ECE. I use winrar to decompress the file.

I downloaded the zip files and put them in the right spots and it shows the game modes and new chaters but it dose not show the mutater,the new maps,or the new wepons

can you post here you chaosut2.log file? It should be in the ut2004\chaosut2\system folder

I finlly got it to start but then it says my cd key is invald now what do I do?

use this link and then click on the umodtool link. Download the software and try extracting Choas that way.

If I remember correctly you put the zip file path in the top section. At the bottm you tell it where to put it. (ut2004 directory). Or vice versa. I'll check when I get home and report back to you.
