ideas for new weapons(and ideas to improve the old ones too)

i have several ideas about this, first would be a club which was faster than a mace yet less powerful. next would be a bow and arrow which would be more powerful than a crossbow but would also be less accurate. also what about a net that entangled enemys that would slow down or even stop them. next what about a set of throwing daggers that would be powerful and ranged but somewhat inaccurate. also what about throwing stars. another idea would be a sling type weapon that hurled rocks at enemys and would do major damage but would be inaccurate. also what about adding throwing axes which would do major damage but would be somewhat inaccurate just like the throwing daggers. also how about when you select your melee weapon you had a choice between poisoning your weapon or leaving it normal. also how about making a flail that would do lots of damage but if hit when you are using it there is a chance that it would hurt you instead. plz tell me what you think of these ideas

Ranged weapons:Would get pwned in CUT matches and would be overpowered in Duel matches?
Flail:Karma weapons are impossible,the flail would be static if its made in the UT2k4 engine
Poisoning:Dunno how you think this could be implemented without imbalance,seeing as without a disadvantage there would be no reason NOT to use it,but with it would most likely be a little on the useless side
net:Might work well with the beartrap....beeaaaartraaaap
Club:i dont think CUT needs another semi-clone weapon of the warhammerl(with the same animations)

Yeah, I hate to say it, but most of your ideas are just slight modifications of other things already in the game. Things are the way they are in the game to upkeep and maintain a type of balance unique to Chaos.
