i installed Chaos UT2 on my PC but now only Chaos works properly. when i run a map in the normal UT2k4 there is no background picture when the map is loading, and when the map loaded, my mouse and keyboard didnt give any responses (except ALT-TAB which minimises the game). i think its because i installed the UT patches in the wrong order, i had V3323 installed, then i installed V3355 and ran the game to test it. then later installed the ECE bonus pack and a few other maps (AS-Outback). Anyone have any ideas? Im currently reinstalling UT2k4 but i backed up all my essential files

First of all:installing ECE over the latest patch should only mess up umod installation(fixed by patch reinstallation)
Patches are standalone,no need to patch in a order
Chaos shouldnt affect stock UT in any way(it doesnt modifiy any UT files afaik)
Please report how it works(Install patch,ECE BP,Patch,Chaos)

as i said, i reinstalled UT, then i reinstalled the two patches, then the ECE pack. i tested it and it worked fine. then i installed all the other bonus maps, mutators, Chaos ect. and tested it again, and both normal UT and Chaos work fine. i dont know, it must have been a glitch or something - maybe a file was missing or i accidently misconfigured something? Attempting to run chaos before installing the ECE pack but still having the latest patch wouldntve caused it would it. My friend gave me the Chaos mod without telling me i needed the bonus pack!!! (Cannot spawn a GUI controller!). But regardless its working fine now, except all the new / good maps are too big for my old but loyal Ath 1600+!!!
BTW great work on CUT2 guys! Youve certainly improved the gameplay from the original CUT! The only downer is the learning curve! oh well, practice makes better! Thanks for the help.
